GRINNELL, Iowa – The 2017 Midwest Conference (MWC) Baseball Championship Tournament will feature the same four teams as the 2016 Tournament.  Grinnell College, Cornell College, St. Norbert College and Beloit College have all qualified and earned the exact same seeds as 2016.  Grinnell College will be the host of the upcoming tournament after winning the South Division for the fourth straight season.

The Rams (18-18, 12-8) will be making their fourth straight tournament appearance and will play the Green Knights (26-10) in the opening game Friday morning.  St. Norbert will be playing in their sixth straight postseason.

The Pioneers (20-14, 13-7) will play Beloit (16-17-1, 10-5-1), the defending MWC champion, in the other first round matchup.  Grinnell has made the final four every year since 2008, while Beloit is making its second straight appearance.

Times for the MWC Baseball Championship Tournament will be released at a later date.
