2020 MWC Swimming & Diving Championship Preview

GRINNELL, Iowa — The 2020 Midwest Conference (MWC) Swimming & Diving Championships will be held this upcoming weekend, Friday-Sunday, February 14-16, 2020 on the campus of Grinnell College.
 
Competing in the three-day event at Russell K. Osgood Pool and Deck will be nine institutions from around the MWC with representation on both the men’s and women’s side. Prelim start times are 10:00 AM on Friday and Saturday and 9:00 AM on Sunday. The full order of events and schedule can be found here.
 
Prior to the start of the season, Grinnell’s men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams were selected to repeat as champions for their fifth and eighth consecutive titles, respectively.
 
Last season’s championship runners-up, Lake Forest College’s men’s and women’s teams will look to challenge the Pioneers for the top spot. The Foresters currently have swimmers in the top three in eleven of the men’s individual events and fifteen of the women’s individual events out of the eighteen tracked by the league for top performances.
