Jadin claimed the individual championship of the St. Norbert Tom Barry Invitational, becoming only the third St. Norbert runner to win it in the 38-year history of the event. Jadin covered the 4-mile course with a time of 21:06.6.

Sophomore - Smithton, Ill.
Southerland clocked a time of 28:06 in the men’s 8K at the 26th annual Bradley Open. Southerland’s time was good enough for 41st overall and sixth in the college division. The IC men finished fourth in the college division.

Sam Stevens - Lawrence University
Senior - Suamico, Wis.
Stevens ran to a second-place finish at the UW-Whitewater Invitational. Stevens covered the 8,000-meter course in 26:19 and led Lawrence to a fourth-place finish in the team standings.

Frank Canady - Grinnell College
Junior - Iowa City, Iowa
Canady placed 21st in a 461-runner field at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational hosted by Augustana College on Friday. He had a time of 26:00.5 over the 8-kilometer course, a clocking that ranks first in the Midwest Conference this season. Canady’s efforts helped the Pioneers to a third-place finish in the 34-team meet while placing ahead of Loras College, the second-ranked team in the Central Region.

Sam Stevens - Lawrence University
Senior - Suamico, Wis.
Stevens was the top finisher among Midwest Conference competitors at the University of Minnesota’s Roy Griak Invitational this past Saturday. Stevens raced to 29th place and covered the 8,000-meter course in 26:43.5. Led by Stevens, Lawrence finished 12th in the team standings among the 27 squads.

Jake Barr - Monmouth College
Senior - Mendota, Ill.
Barr took advantage of running on a national championship course against ranked teams at last Saturday’s Pre-National Meet in Terre Haute, Ind. The senior clocked a 26:08 to finish 21st in the field of 376 runners. The time is the sixth-fastest in the MWC. Barr also holds the league’s fastest time from earlier this season.

Matt Gatlin - Monmouth College
Senior - Oswego, Ill.
Gatlin ran his lifetime best despite rainy conditions at Saturday’s UW-Oshkosh Brooks Invitational. The senior was the first Midwest Conference runner to cross the finish line, touring the course in 26:06.13 to place 60th in the field of more than 500 runners. The time was also the fifth-fastest time by a Fighting Scot on the Lake Breeze course.
