Cristyn Oliver won her first collegiate title and led Lawrence to the team title at the Ken Weidt Classic at Concordia University Wisconsin. Oliver, competing in her first season of cross country, won the 6,000-meter race in 22:59.2, the seventh-fastest time in Lawrence history. Oliver won the race by 18 seconds over UW-Oshkosh's Hannah Lohrenz. The Vikings grabbed the team title with 31 points to win the title, and UW-Oshkosh, the sixth-ranked team in the North Region, was second with 54.
