Barnard made quite a splash in his collegiate debut, setting one program record and recording two first place swims in Saturday’s quad meet. Barnard bettered Monmouth’s 100 individual medley record by nearly two seconds with a runner up time of 55.02. He touched first in both freestyle sprint events, winning the 50-yard event with a Monmouth honor roll time of 21.96 and touching first in the 100 with a 49.08.
