Benson was spectacular as the Pioneers won both games during the week, including a 3-1 victory over Lake Forest College to clinch the program’s first MWC Tournament berth since 2017. Benson gave up no goals and made five saves while working 75 minutes of a win over Iowa Wesleyan University and followed with another win against Lake Forest while making one save. For the season, he has a 1.46 goals against average.
