Persson averaged 40.8 yards on a season-high eight punts in Lake Forest's 28-6 league title-clinching victory over Chicago on Saturday. One of his attempts was downed at the 1-yardline and another at the 7 and the Maroons were able to return just two of his punts for a total of 10 yards.
