Matthew Trotter set a MWC record in the men's 100 butterfly this past weekend at the Carthage Invitational, posting a time of (49.69). He also won the men's 200 butterfly with the fastest time in the Conference so far this season (1:54.29) and participated in school-record-setting 200 (1:34.31) and 400 (3:24.93) medley relays, including a dominant performance in the 400 MR that was only 0.3 seconds off the MWC Conference record and won overall at the Carthage Invite.
