Brad Sendell averaged 26 points per game while leading Lawrence to pair of Midwest Conference victories. Sendell shot 53.8 percent (14-26) from the floor, including 44.4 percent (4-9) from 3-point range, and 90.9 percent (20-22) from the foul line over the two contests. Sendell also averaged 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game. In an 81-70 win over Knox, Sendell had 23 points, five rebounds four assists and three steals. He followed that with 29 points, two rebounds, three assists and a steal in an 80-69 road victory at Illinois College.
