Phillips’ shooting aim was spot-on as he erupted for 41 points in a 127-75 win over Monmouth College Saturday. Phillips was 13-of-17 from 3-point range, with the 76.5 percent success ranking as best in program history for a player with 14 trey attempts or more. The 13 treys are second-best by a player this season at the NCAA D-III level and 41 points are tops in the MWC.
