Klein reached base safely in 13 of 15 plate appearances against perennial powers last week. The senior was 4-for-4 with a triple and three runs scored in the opener against Illinois Wesleyan on Tuesday. She belted a two-run homer in the first inning of game two and was walked in each of her last three trips to the plate that day. Klein went 1-for-2 in each half of Wednesday's twinbill split with Washington-St. Louis. She also drew three more walks on the day, including an intentional pass.
