Tsuha picked up where she left off as the Pioneers rolled over Luther College 211-89 in the season opener. Tsuha claimed titles in four events, including individual wins in the 50-, 500- and 1000-yard freestyles in 25.88 seconds, 5:27.61 and 11:08.79, respectively. She also was on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished in 1:44.15.
