Abby Leber set the Monmouth single-game strikeout record with 16 strikeouts on Friday, the third highest tally in MWC history for one game. She did so in 11 innings of work in a no-decision. On Sunday, Leber helped the Scots clinch their first MWC Tournament appearance in six years with a win over Cornell, as she allowed just one hit over five shutout innings while striking out four.
