Elizabeth Bowns was a standout for the Lady Blues with a record-breaking performance in the Monmouth College Invite this weekend. Bowns place first in the hammer throw (163-6.0, 49.84 meters) and the shot put (40-1.25, 12.22 meters). Her mark in the hammer throw is the new top mark in the MWC and breaks the Illinois College school record in the event by over five feet.
