Miyamoto made the most of the home course, placing third of 93 runners at the Les Duke Invitational in Grinnell Saturday. Miyamoto’s clocking of 23 minutes, 36.2 seconds ranks 29th in program history and helped Grinnell to a fourth-place finish in the team standings, finishing behind two regionally-ranked squads and an NCAA Division II school while beating another team ranked in the region.
