Bowens put her name at the top of the list of MWC performances in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:01.99 at the University of Chicago's Phoenix Fall Classic over the weekend. She also posted the league's second-fastest time of the year in the 200-backstroke at 2:14.17. In addition, Bowens led off the Foresters' 400-free relay that now sits atop the conference rankings at 3:49.78.
