Sabin had just about as good a start to a season as a player could have last week, helping the Red Hawks to a pair of wins. After scoring 33 points in their season-opener against Wisconsin Lutheran College, Sabin broke his own single game school scoring record with 53 points against Loras College. That included 45 points in a second half that saw him shoot 12-for-13 from the field and 5-for-5 from three-point range. In addition to averaging 43 points per game during the week, Sabin also led the team with 5.5 rebounds, four assists, and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 63 percent (26-for-41) from the field, 53 percent (8-for-15) from three-point range, and 84 percent (26-for-31) from the free throw line.
