Colson was a quadruple winner and entered the program’s career leader board in two events as Grinnell cruised past Luther College 192-80 Saturday. Colson won the 100-yard backstroke in 52.68, the 10th-best time in program history, and claimed the 200 individual medley in 1:58.04, which ranks 17th all-time. Additionally, he won the 100 freestyle in 48.02 and was on the first-place 200 freestyle relay team that swam 1:29.54.
