Fitzgerald swam the 19th-fasted 1650-yard freestyle time in program history while winning three events in the Pioneers’ dual meet victory over Loras College Saturday. His time was 17:09.03, which is best in the MWC this season. Fitzgerald also won the 200 backstroke in 1:58.23 and was on the first-place 200 freestyle relay team that won in 1:28.35. The relay team’s time is best in the league this season.
