Ong finished 3-1 during Cornell's 1-1 week. The freshman won both of his matches at No. 3 singles against Simpson (6-4, 6-0) and UW-Stevens Point (6-0, 6-0). Ong recorded an 8-3 win over UW-Stevens Point at No. 2 doubles. He improved his overall record to 12-5.
