Clawson posted the second-best hammer throw performance in school history at Saturday’s D3 Challenge in Seguin, Texas. He placed third in the event with a toss of 158-1, less than 3 feet from the school record. Clawson was also second in the discus with an effort of 133-2. He leads the MWC in both events.
