Parker Knoll hit .654 for the week and tied a Lawrence record in the process. Batting in the lead-off spot in Lawrence's lineup, Knoll went 17-for-26 with four homers, a double, 10 runs scored and 11 RBIs. Knoll put together a 1.154 slugging percentage and an impressive 1.809 OPS. Knoll went 4-for-4 in the first game of the week against conference champ Beloit, and then tied the Lawrence record hits in a game when he went 5-for-6 against No. 23 UW-Stevens Point. In a three-game series at Knox, Knoll went 8-for-16 and homered in all three games, including a grand slam.
