Taylor Freeman had a record-setting performance by going 7-for-7 in Lawrence's victory at Carthage. Freeman belted a pair of homers, smacked two doubles and posted three singles in his seven-hit game. He finished the game with six runs batted in and four runs scored. Freeman broke the Midwest Conference record of six hits in a game and topped the Lawrence mark of five hits in a game. Freeman finished the week, which included a three-game series with the University of Chicago, with a .579 average by going 11-for-19 with three doubles, two homers, seven RBIs, seven runs scored and two stolen bases.
