Agusti had a perfect day while leading Grinnell to its first-ever team title at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawk Invitational. Agusti claimed the second-flight singles title with victories over players from Augustana (6-1, 6-1), Luther (6-2, 6-0) and UW-Whitewater (6-4, 7-5). The Pioneers edged UW-Whitewater, a team that finished last season in the national rankings, by a 41-40 score for the title.
