Birdsong returned a kickoff 83 yards for a touchdown at Monmouth, marking Cornell's longest scoring play since the 2017 season. The junior totaled 206 all-purpose yards in the game, including 160 on five kick returns. Birdsong ranks No. 7 nationally in all-purpose yards per game (169.6 ypg) and has scored a TD in each of his first six games this season.
