McAdam won both backstroke events during a dual meet at Carthage College on Saturday and led off for the victorious 200-free relay team. His time of 53.44 seconds in the 100-back is the best in the MWC so far this season by a full second while his 1:58.01 in the 200-back is more than five seconds faster than the next clocking on the list.
