Shane Anderson won the weight throw at the Frigid Bee Opener with a career-best throw of 18.22m. That performance is the seventh best throw in Monmouth history and put him 1st in the MWC and fourth nationally after the opening weekend. Anderson also threw 13.72m in the shot put, ranking 3rd in the MWC behind two Monmouth teammates.
