Zilaitis enjoyed the best meet of his career, posting top-10 NCAA marks in both the weight throw and shot put at the Cornell Invitational. He broke his own school record by nearly a foot in the weight throw with a winning toss of 58’ 7 1/2”, ranking No. 4 nationally. He then turned in a personal-best winning mark of 53’ 8 1/4” in the shot put, good for No. 7 in Division III. The Rams placed second in the six-team field with 108 points.
