vanWestrienen recorded the nation's fastest Division III time (14:09.91) of the season in the 5000-meter run at Cornell's Hilltop Invitational. The sophomore shattered the long-standing Cornell record by 30 seconds (set back in 1991) and established a new arena record by 37 seconds (set in 2004).
