Taylor Freeman hit .700, blasted five homers and tied a school record as Lawrence went 3-0 on the week. Freeman 7-for-10 and all seven hits went for extra bases with five homers and two doubles. Freeman, who drew three walks and was hit once, posted an astronomical 3.186 OPS in the three games. Freeman piled up nine runs batted in, eight runs scored, was 2-for-2 on stolen bases and handled all 14 chances in the field flawlessly. Freeman started the week by going 1-for-3 with a double in a 16-6 win over Wisconsin Lutheran. He then went 4-for-4 and tied the school record with three homers in a 21-5 victory over Olivet. Freeman had a double and drove in six runs against Olivet. Freeman finished the weekend by going 2-for-3 with two homers and three RBIs in an 11-7 win over Elmhurst.
