Jacob Charon hit .619 over the final six games of Lawrence's spring break trip to Florida, and that included a three-game sweep of Knox to start Midwest Conference play. Charon went 13-for-21 with five doubles, one triple, three homers, 10 runs scored and 10 runs batted in. Charon also drew six walks to boost his on-base percentage to .704 for a phenomenal 2.085 OPS. In the three-game series against Knox, Charon hit for the cycle in the opener, a 13-0 Lawrence victory in seven innings. Charon started with a two-run homer in the first inning, tripled in the third, singled in the fourth and completed the cycle with a double in the sixth inning. He finished that game 4-for-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored. For the series, Charon went 7-for-9 with two doubles, a triple, two homers, six runs scored and six RBIs.
