Clayton Matkovic was 8-for-19 (.421) in the week as the Scots went 4-1 in Midwest Conference action. He had a double, triple, three walks and a stolen base to go with two runs scored and three RBI. He tied the Monmouth single-season triples record (6) with a RBI go-ahead triple at Cornell on Monday and finished with three hits and six TB. He then had two hits in both games on Sunday, a win against Ripon and a loss to Chicago while adding two walks in the Ripon game.
