Kaylee Celus made an impressive college debut this weekend with 31 kills, a .441 hitting percentage, 12 digs and three aces in two matches, seven sets. The freshman leads the conference in hitting percentage (.441 to .359), kills per set at 4.43 and points per set at 4.86. In her first ever college match, Celus finished with 21 kills, an ace and a .486 hitting percentage against Bluffton on Friday. In the second match of the day she had 10 kills and hit .364 against Waynesburg with two aces. Celus missed the final two matches of the weekend with a family commitment as the Scots went 3-1 overall in Ohio, 2-0 with Celus on the court.
