Clara Hills got her collegiate career off to a perfect start with a 4-0 record in singles. Playing No. 2, Hills notched wins over UW-Oshkosh, Lakeland, Illinois Wesleyan and Concordia Chicago without dropping a set. Hills got her collegiate career started with a 6-4, 6-2 win at UW-Oshkosh, and she followed that with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Lakeland. Hills then won 6-4, 6-2 at Illinois Wesleyan and finished the week with a 6-1, 6-0 win at Concordia Chicago. Playing with three different partners, Hills split four matches in doubles. She went 1-1 at No. 1 doubles and 1-1 at No. 2 doubles.
