Sommer scored four goals in three matches, all wins for IC. In all three victories, she scored the match's first goal as the Lady Blues are off to the best start in program history at 5-0-1. In the win over Blackburn on Tuesday she scored the first goal of the match en route to an 11-0 victory. In Thursday's win over Great Lakes Christian College, she again scored the first goal of the contest as the Lady Blues posted a 2-0 victory. In Saturday's 7-0 win over previously unbeaten Buena Vista, Sommer scored twice (again scoring the first goal of the match). Sommer leads the team with six goals on the season.
