Chavan kept alive Grinnell’s streak of strong showings at the ITA Midwest Regional Championship, advancing to the quarterfinals in both singles and doubles play. After receiving a first-round bye in singles, the ninth-seeded Chavan reeled off victories in the next three rounds including one over the fifth seed. She then lost a three-set battle to the fourth seed in the quarterfinals. In doubles, Chavan teamed with Paige Sargent ’27 for three wins, including one over the fourth seed, before being beaten in the quarterfinals.
