Cristyn Oliver made Lawrence history at the Gene Davis Invitational as she recorded the fastest 6,000-meter time in school history. Oliver raced to the individual title with a time of 21:52.6 to break the school record. Oliver's time broke the record of 22:01 set by Lawrence Hall of Famer Val Curtis in 2002. Oliver's previous best, which ranked second in school history, was 22:06 in 2022. Oliver, whose time is the fastest in the Midwest Conference this season, led Lawrence to the team title with 33 points, 15 points better than second-place UW-Oshkosh.
