vanWestrienen turned in another stellar race against elite competition, placing 12th out of 436 finishers in the Gold Division at Augustana's Interregional Invitational, which featured nine nationally-ranked programs. He covered the 8K course in 24:36 and was 10th among all collegiate finishers. The No. 7 regionally-ranked Rams took 18th in the 40-team field.
