Olmstead averaged 1.29 blocks per set during Cornell's 2-0 week as the Rams completed an undefeated MWC regular season to claim their 12th consecutive conference title. The first-year totaled six blocks in a 3-1 title-clinching win over Grinnell. Olmstead also hit .371 for the week with 2.43 kills per set. The Rams extended their winning streak to 10 matches.
