Strada posted a pair of victories and broke the Lake Forest College Sports and Recreation Center pool record in the Foresters' dual meet victory over the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Saturday. His 800m-freestyle time of 8:30.62 was nearly six seconds better than the previous mark, which was set in 2016, and he finished more than a minute ahead of the runner-up in the race. Strada also won the 400m-freestyle by eight-and-a-half seconds with a time of 4:20.46. His 800m-freestyle time converts to 9:48.74 for 1000 yards, which leads the league so far this season by more than 16 seconds.
