Bria Medina had her Thanksgiving feast a couple days early as she lit up Millikin for a career-high 37 points to lead Knox to an 84-74 victory over the Big Blue last Tuesday. The sophomore hit 13-of-19 field goals as well as her only 3-point attempt, plus converted 10-of-11 at the foul line to account for her offensive outburst. She also grabbed a season-high six rebounds, dished out three assists and stole the ball once. The 37 points are the second-most by a Prairie Fire women’s player in program history (the record is 42 set in 1980-81).
