Knowles hit a contested, off-balanced shot in the paint with 7.4 seconds left that lifted Cornell to a 54-53 home win over Grinnell. The freshman forward averaged 17.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 steals in two games as the Rams improved to 4-0 in the MWC and extended their overall winning streak to six games.
