For the second time this season, St. Norbert College junior guard D.J. DeValk has been named the Midwest Conference (MWC) Men’s Basketball Performer of the Week. 

DeValk led St. Norbert to a pair of wins, clinching the Green Knights' fifth consecutive outright MWC title - the first team to do so since Carleton won six straight from 1928-33. DeValk had 24 points, seven assists and four rebounds in Tuesday's 64-58 win over Lake Forest. He then added 20 points, four assists, two blocked shots, two steals and two rebounds in Saturday's 73-62 win over Beloit. DeValk also went over 1,000 career points against Beloit, only the fourth St. Norbert player since 1975 to reach that mark during his junior year.
