Knox College extended its winning streak to four with a pair of victories, and first-year Nayeli Nidez Acuña played a big role in those wins. First, she poured in a season-high 26 points on 11-of-16 field goals and 4-of-5 at the foul line, with 21 of those 26 points coming in the second half when the Prairie Fire turned a 42-all tie at the half into an 84-69 win vs Illinois College. Then at Beloit, she was one of five players to score in double figures with 10 points, plus added six rebounds, three assists and three steals with only one turnover as Knox cruised to an 84-48 triumph. In the two games, she averaged 18.0 ppg and 5.5 rpg, helping her remain among the top 10 in the league in both categories (13.9 ppg, 7th; 6.7 rpg, 8th).
