Freshman Zay Brown put up another great week helping the Scots to a 2-0 week and sole possession of first place in the league standings. Brown had 23 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double at Grinnell as the Scots moved into a tie for first on Wednesday night with a 102-99 win on the road. He was 10-for-19 from the field and added a career-high six assists with two blocks and a steal. Brown also led the Scots in scoring in a home win over Lawrence on Saturday to take over sole possession at first at 7-2 in MWC play. Brown was 8-for-13 from the field, 5-for-5 at the line and scored 22 points with 8 rebounds and two blocks. For the week he was 18-for-32 (.563) from the field, 8-for-11 at the line and averaged 22.5 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks per game.
