Adl was a triple champ for the Pioneers as they remained unbeaten in dual meets this season with a 181-104 victory at Macalester College. He won 100-yard backstroke in 52.26 seconds, 100 freestyle in 46.93 and was on the first-place 200 medley relay team that finished in 1:35.51. Adl was also on the runner-up 200 freestyle relay team that finished in 1:26.47.
