Zay kept rolling this week as he led first-place Monmouth to a 2-0 week. Brown scored a career-high 28 at Lake Forest on Tuesday while adding 11 rebounds for another double-double. He was 11-for-18 (.611) from the field and 6-of-9 at the line while also adding two assists and two steals. Brown set the tone at Knox on Saturday by scoring Monmouth’s first 10 points and he finished with 24 points on 11-of-16 (.688) shooting with two free throws. Brown added eight rebounds, two steals and an assist. For the week Brown averaged 26 ppg, 9.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and made 65% of his FGA, including 79% of his 2pt FGA.
