Doss was a triple winner on Saturday at the Grinnell Invitational. The sophomore won the long jump with a leap of 6.89 meters. On the track, he broke the tape first in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.84 seconds and followed that with a victory in the 200-meter dash in 21.51 seconds. Both of his times were school records, and his 200-meter time also set the standard for the Grinnell Field House. His 60 and 200 times are also the fastest in the Midwest Conference this season.
