Stephanie Nelson has continued to improve her weight throws at every meet, and this week at the Jim Green Invitational was no exception. She waited until her final throw to unleash a toss of 14.16 meters (46 feet 5.5 inches), elevating her to a fourth-place finish and leaving her less than two inches from the school record. Her distance is the sixth longest in the conference to this point of the season.
