Bria Medina was the driving force behind Knox’s two victories last week, lifting the team into fourth place in the standings with two games to play. First, the point guard delivered 16 points and five assists in just 19 minutes to the 97-65 triumph at Monmouth on Tuesday, hitting 4-of-6 from the floor and 8-of-10 at the foul line. Then on Saturday, she paced the Prairie Fire with 21 points on 8-of-12 field goals and 5-of-6 at the charity stripe while dishing out six helpers, grabbing five rebounds and stealing the ball three times in 74-52 win over Beloit. She finished the week shooting 66.7 percent from the floor and 81.3 percent at the line.
